CVC Landfill Cell 4B | Valued $1.8m
Recently, Valley Earthworks has completed an 18-week project to expand the current landfill capacity for Clarence Valley Council. This project was contracted at $1.8M, with Valley Earthworks being the principal. Below are some statistics of the project:
- 23,000 m2 in size
- 177,000 Tonnes of dirt excavated
- 50,000 Tonne clay liner
- HDPE Liner
Pacific Highway Upgrades | Valued $6m
For the past 6 years Valley Earthworks has been involved extensively with the Pacific Highway Dual Carriageway Upgrades. We have provided plant and operators on the following upgrade sections and currently have 50% of our fleet on the Woolgoolga to Ballina works:

- Ballina Bypass
- Tintenbar to Ewingsdale
- Devils Pulpit
- Kempsey to Kundabung
- Oxley Highway to Kundabung
- Woolgoolga to Ballina (ongoing)
Additional Crossing of the Clarence River at Grafton | Current
Valley Earthworks are currently working on various aspects of this project including:

- Levee works
- Alignment works
- Backfill works
Clarence Valley Council Super Depot, South Grafton | Current – Valued $3m
Valley Earthworks have been heavily involved in the initial works for the new council super depot. To date this has involved preliminary site works and removal of contaminated waste. We are also contracted for bulk earthworks and pavement packages work which will be commencing shortly.
NSW National Parks & Wildlife | Valued $1m
We have been an approved subcontractor for the NSW Parks and Wildlife for several years now and have ongoing contracts with them. Our scope of work includes construction and maintenance of roads, clearing and maintaining fire trails, drainage systems, bridge construction and assisting with firefighting.
Yamba Marina Breakwall | Valued $400K
The scope of works for this project was the repair and resurfacing of an existing road along the Yamba Marina break wall. We were required to work in an environmentally sensitive area that was still in use by commercial businesses.
Lismore Base Hospital | Valued $393k
At this John Holland project our contracts were for site preparation, civil earthworks, concreting, drainage and road paving.

Wollongbar Sports Field | Valued $238k
Valley Earthworks was engaged by Synergy Resource Management for this project which was for the construction of new sporting grounds including roads, playing fields and drainage.
Cudgen Breakwall
Valley Earthworks were contracted by Soil Conservation Services on to repair and upgrade the Cudgen Breakwall then install a sealed path along the length of it.
Grafton Golf Club | Valued $90k
This job required the re-surfacing of the internal roads and car parks at the golf club.
Forestry Corporation of NSW
Valley Earthworks currently has ongoing contracts with Forestry Corporation for general road maintenance, pre and post harvest road maintenance and bridge construction.
Maules Creek, Boggabri
This involved land clearing for the Maules Creek Mine and associated railway lines.
